How It Started
After Hurricane Helene, Matlyn lost her home in Pass-a-Grille. She responded by creating a small collection of hats as a way to stay connected to the community she loved. More than 200 hats later, they had become a reminder of home for locals, visitors, and former residents alike.
Susan bought one of those first hats. What started as a connection between neighbors grew into a friendship and creative partnership.
